After creating a visually engaging user interface for communicating the choices in our choose you own adventure experience, we tested the many ways to poll live audiences. However, we found that the existing software limited the design choices one could make, and we needed to have a system that could keep track of the audience choices to make sure we didn’t repeat any scene. We decided to create our own application for this purpose. One happy byproduct of this app is that polling can happen remotely which opens up the possibility for live broadcast of MARiE BEGiNS.
